Cash donations are very important year round. This enables the purchase of merchandise and specific items at discounted bulk prices. The Salvation Army also welcomes gifts-in-kind donations throughout the year. During the holiday season additional NEW gift considerations are appreciated because we prefer to give new items to those seeking our help during the holiday season.

Special holiday season gift needs:

• Toys for children ages infants – 12 years of age to be distributed to area needy children
• Caps, mittens, sweaters, coats, gloves and scarves for needy people of all ages
• Food of all kinds…especially turkeys, hams, pumpkin and pecan pies.

Location for holiday gift delivery:
Toys, other gifts and non-perishable food donations are to be delivered to the Christmas Joy Center.

Are used gift items accepted?
Used items are accepted. They may be left at a Salvation Army Thrift Store in your area.

Other Gifts-in-Kind donations needed at the Emergency Shelter year round:

• Blankets
• Soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels and wash cloths
• Disposable diapers
