Membership is open to anyone who desires to join. The membership fee enables a person to enjoy the basic use of the facility. This includes the indoor game room, fitness room, gymnasium and swimming pool for free swims. It also entitles you to be a guest at all of the seasonal special events.

There are meeting rooms available for rental.

Registration and/or fee payments are required on site. Membership is required for all participants with the exception of water aerobics classes. When activity fees are indicated, they are to be paid in addition to the membership fee.

Scholarship applications are available through the community center secretary.

If non-member wants to use the facilities there is a $5.00 fee per use.

ADULT YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS

AQUATICS
All aquatics classes are taught by certified teachers. Lifeguards are on duty at all times. (Pool is closed during classes.)

WATER AEROBICS
No membership is required.
Cost is $5.00 per day or $45.00 for 15 classes.

ARTHRITIS CLASSES

Elementary Age Children
Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.

A variety of about 50 books are exchanged with the Sand Springs Library for convenience of the youth members. Microscopes, science project materials, science books and science videos are also available for participants.

NOVEMBER THROUGH MARCH

BASKETBALL
There is a $65 fee per season for children 5 through 18 years.
Girls' teams practice twice a week at the discretion of the coach.
Boys' teams also practice twice a week at the discretion of the coach.

FOOTBALL
Most games are played on Saturday.
Gate admission is $3.00

JULY THROUGH OCTOBER

TACKLE FOOTBALL
1st and 2nd graders practice not more than three times a week.
3rd and 4th graders practice not more than three times a week.
5th through 7th graders practice not more than four times a week.

AUGUST THROUGH OCTOBER

FLAG FOOTBALL
Children 6 through 8 years of age
Six and under practice not more than twice a week.
Eight and under practice three times per week.

First through Seventh grade
Practice not more than three times a week.

DAY CAMP OPPORTUNITIES

Year-round day camps are available to coincide with Sand Springs Public School breaks. They are open to children 6 through 12 years and begin at 7:00 a.m. and conclude at 6 p.m. Children are to bring a sack lunch, swimsuit and towel for Spring and Christmas break day camps. There is a varied program of activities including special field trips.

SUMMER DAY CAMPS

There is an $25 registration fee per child, plus $80 per week. The fee is $18 per day for four days or less participation.

RESIDENT CAMP

Children may also attend the resident camp Heart-O-Hills. It is a beautiful campsite donated by Waite Phillips in 1929. This camp is open to boys and girls, ages 6 – 12 years. There is one session for boys and one session for girls.

COMPUTER SESSIONS
10 through 14 years
Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Special recreational and educational computer software is a part of this program.

ARTS AND CRAFTS CLASSES AND BOOK CLUB
6 through 12 years
Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Every other Tuesday craft classes and book club alternate as activities for children.

TUTORING ON VARIOUS SUBJECTS
Elementary Age Children
Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.

PHOTOGRAPHY CLASSES
10 through 16 years
Cameras provided.

YOUTH CLUB
Boy and girl members 14 – 18 years.
Meets weekly on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
